Prof. Mohammad S. Obaidat University of Texas- Permian Basin, USA
Professor Mohammad S. Obaidat (Life Fellow of IEEE, Fellow of SCS and Fellow of AAIA) is an internationally known academic/researcher/scientist/ scholar. He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from The Ohio State University, Columbus, USA. He has received extensive research funding and published To Date about One Thousand and Two Hundred (1,200) refereed technical articles-About half of them are journal articles, over 100 books, and about 70 Book Chapters. He is Editor-in-Chief of 3 scholarly journals and an editor of many other international journals.  He is the founding Editor-in Chief of Wiley Security and Privacy Journal.  Moreover, he is founder or co-founder of 5 International Conferences. Among his previous positions are Advisor to the President of Philadelphia University for Research, Development and Information Technology, President and Chair of Board of Directors of the Society for Molding and Simulation International, SCS, Senior Vice President of SCS, Dean of the College of Engineering at Prince Sultan University, Chair and tenured Professor at the Department of Computer and Information Science and Director of the MS Graduate Program in Data Analytics at Fordham university, Chair and tenured Professor of the Department of Computer Science and Director of the Graduate Program at Monmouth University, Tenured Full Professor at King Abdullah II School of Information Technology, University of Jordan, Founding Dean and Professor, College of Computing and Informatics at The University of Sharjah, UAE and distinguished Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology-Dhanbad. He is now the Chair and Professor of Computer Science Department and Director of the Cybersecurity Center at the University of Texas- Permian Basin, USA. He has chaired numerous (Over 180) international conferences and has given numerous (Over 180) keynote speeches worldwide. He has served as ABET/CSAB evaluator and on IEEE CS Fellow Evaluation Committee. He has served as IEEE CS Distinguished Speaker/Lecturer and an ACM Distinguished Lecturer. Since 2004 has been serving as an SCS Distinguished Lecturer. He received many best paper awards for his papers including ones from IEEE ICC, IEEE Globecom, AICSA, CITS, SPECTS, DCNET International conferences. He also received Best Paper awards from IEEE Systems Journal in 2018 and in 2019 (2 Best Paper Awards). In 2020, he received 4 best paper awards from IEEE Systems Journal. In 2021, he also received the IEEE Systems best paper award. In 2021, he was ranked by Guide2Research as Number 1 Computer Scientist in UAE in terms of Number of Publications. He has received many best paper awards from IEEE International Conferences.

He also received many other worldwide awards for his technical contributions including: The 2018 IEEE ComSoc-Technical Committee on Communications Software Technical Achievement Award for contribution to Cybersecurity, Wireless Networks Computer Networks and Modeling and Simulation, SCS prestigious McLeod Founder’s Award , Presidential Service Award, SCS Hall of Fame – Lifetime Achievement Award for his technical contribution to modeling and simulation and for his outstanding visionary leadership and dedication to increasing the effectiveness and broadening the applications of modeling and simulation worldwide. He also received the SCS Outstanding Service Award. He was awarded the IEEE CITS Hall of Fame Distinguished and Eminent Award.  In recognition of his significant scientific contribution, Springer published in Feb 2022 a book honoring his contributions in Computing, Informatics, Networking and Cybersecurity. It is entitled: Advances in Computing, Informatics, Networking and Cybersecurity – A Book Honoring Professor Mohammad S. Obaidat’s Significant Scientific Contributions. He is a Life Fellow of IEEE, a Fellow of SCS and a Fellow of AAIA.
Prof. Sudip Misra is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Carleton University, in Ottawa, Canada. His current research interests include Wireless Sensor Networks and Internet of Things. Dr. Misra is the author of over 260 scholarly research papers. He has won nine research paper awards in different conferences. He was awarded the IEEE ComSoc Asia Pacific Outstanding Young Researcher Award at IEEE GLOBECOM 2012, Anaheim, California, USA. He was also the recipient of several academic awards and fellowships such as the Faculty Excellence Award (IIT Kharagpur), Young Scientist Award (National Academy of Sciences, India), Young Systems Scientist Award (Systems Society of India), Young Engineers Award (Institution of Engineers, India), (Canadian) Governor General’s Academic Gold Medal at Carleton University, the University Outstanding Graduate Student Award in the Doctoral level at Carleton University and the National Academy of Sciences, India – Swarna Jayanti Puraskar (Golden Jubilee Award). He was awarded the Canadian Government’s prestigious NSERC Post Doctoral Fellowship and the Humboldt Research Fellowship in Germany. Dr. Misra is the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Communication Networks and Distributed Systems (IJCNDS), Inderscience, Switzerland. Prof. Sudip Misra, IIT Kharagpur, India

He is also an Editor/Editorial Board Member/Editorial Review Board Member of the IET Networks and IET Wireless Sensor Systems. Dr. Misra has 10 books published by Springer, Wiley, and World Scientific. He was invited to chair several international conference/workshop programs and sessions. Dr. Misra was also invited to deliver keynote/invited lectures in over 30 international conferences in USA, Canada, Europe, Asia and Africa. He is the Fellow of the National Academy of Sciences India (NASI).
Prof. Ganapati Panda
Professor Ganapati Panda is currently working as a Professor and Research Advisor at C V Raman Global University-Odisha, Bhubaneswar, India. Professor Panda served as the Deputy Director, Dean (Academic Affairs), and Head, School of Electrical Sciences at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar. He was also Dean (Administration), Head of Electronics and Communication Engineering at the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela. He was a member of the Board of Governors of IIT Bhubaneswar and NIT Rourkela. Dr. Panda also served as Director of the National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur. He worked for 48 years in teaching and research in leading technical institutions in India. He did his Post-Doctoral research work at the University of Edinburgh, UK (1984-86), and Ph. D. (1981) from IIT, Kharagpur in Digital Signal Processing. He has guided 42 Ph.Ds in the field of Signal Processing, Communication, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning. He has published more than 463 research papers in 272 referred Journals and 191 Conferences with 13465 citations, h-index of 56, and i10-index of 207 as of 1st Feb 2024. Ten more Ph.D. students are continuing their Ph.D. work under his active guidance. He has successfully completed a number of research projects from various funding agencies in India and other countries. He is a Fellow of the National Academy of Engineering, India (FNAE) and a Fellow of the National Academy of Science, India (FNASc) for his significant research contribution to signal processing and machine learning.
He has received Samanta Chandra Sekhar Award (1993), Biju Patnaik Award (2012), INAE-Outstanding Teacher Award (2017), AICTE-INAE Distinguished Visiting Professorship (2019-20), and AICTE- Margadarshak (2019-20), Life Time Achievement Award – Ravenshaw University (2021), Senior Scientist (Odisha Bigyan Academy 2021), listed under Top 2% Scientist of the world from the Stanford University in the area of AI&ML (2021,2022,2023) for significant contribution to engineering, education, and research. His name is included in the Technology Advisory Board of the Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT), Govt. of India in March 2022. Prof. Panda is listed as one of the World’s Best Computer Science Scientist in India by the Microsoft Academic Graph in the year 2022 with a national rank of 33. He is a Senior Member of
Dr. Puthal is an award-winning researcher and is well-known internationally for his contributions to research in Cyber Security, Adversarial machine learning, Blockchain, Edge Computing, and the Internet of Things. He has won several competitive international awards in recognition of original research and innovations that led to advancements in his research specialization, such as the 2022 IEEE HITC Award for Excellence in Hyper-Intelligence Systems (Middle Career Researcher award), 2021 IEEE Computer Society Smart Computing STC Early-Career Award, 2021 IEEE TEMS TC on Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technologies (runner-up), 2019 Best IEEE ComSoc Young Researcher Award (For Europe, Middle East, and Africa Region), 2018 IEEE TCSC Award for Excellence in Scalable Computing (Early Career Researcher), 2018 IETE Best Research Award, four IEEE best paper awards, etc. He is an IEEE Distinguished Speaker (IEEE CTSoc) and is currently a faculty member at Khalifa University, UAE, and before this, he was an assistant professor at Newcastle University, UK.

Dr. Puthal has received his Ph.D. from the Faculty of Engineering and IT, University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Australia (for which he received the IEEE Distinguished Doctoral Dissertation Award from IEEE Smart Computing STC), and is currently an honorary fellow at UTS. He has been serving as a member of IEEE Computer Society STC ExCom, Chair of IEEE Bio-inspired Computing STC, and in the editorial board of IEEE Transactions on Big Data, IEEE Transactions on Computational Social Systems, IEEE Consumer Electronics Magazine, International Journal of Communication Systems, and Springer Nature Computer Science Journal.
